How much will it cost to build my website?

The short answer is it depends.  It will depend on how many pages your site needs to be, who will be providing images for the new site, who will be providing content for the site, what functionality the site will need (examples include forms, e-commerce capability, videos, etc), the requested site completion deadline, and other factors. What are the different steps in having a site built?

We will guide you through the entire process of creating a new website and you will have input during each step. Generally, the process starts with a meeting or phone conversation to discuss your business, your goals and your plans for the new site.  After we understand this, we can put together our proposal.  Once you’ve accepted the proposal, we will send you our website questionnaire which helps us understand more about what you want to achieve.  From there we will deliver the first round of design comps.  Depending on your budget and needs, you will have several choices of design to start from.  Once you’ve selected one design, we will begin editing that design to fit your needs.  Next we’ll add in copy and content to flesh out the design with your feedback. Once you’ve approved the final design, we will begin coding the site so that it will be ready for the web.  We ensure that our sites are coded to the latest standards, no matter what format it’s built in. Once the site is completely coded it’s time for the big reveal where we welcome your site to the world wide web.  We’ll test all links and all site functionality before the site goes live, and then allow you to review everything and make any last changes.  Once you are fully satisfied, your site will go live!  If you have chosen to do an SEO package, those services will begin immediately.

How long will it take to build the new site?

This will depend on how large the project is and how well you are prepared. If you have the copy written for the site, and have already selected or possess the images to be used, this can dramatically speed up delivery time.  Another option is to purchase copy writing services and an image package.  Not having the copy for the new website ready is a sure way to stall the design/development process.  We will give you a time line for completion and will deliver by the deadline barring any unforeseen issues.
